Dosing & Administration

It doesn’t take much DRAXXIN® to achieve impressive results. With one of the lowest dose volumes on the beef antimicrobial market, DRAXXIN enables you to use less product per animal than most other antimicrobials.

To administer DRAXXIN, inject subcutaneously in the neck as a single dose of 2.5 mg/kg (1.1 mL/100 lb.) body weight (BW). Do not inject more than 10 mL per injection site.*

*Actual dose is 1.14 mL/100 lb. body weight.

This syringe has been specifically designed for use with DRAXXIN, and should not be used with other products.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: DRAXXIN has a pre-slaughter withdrawal time of 18 days in cattle. Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older. Do not use in animals known to be hypersensitive to the product. See full Prescribing Information.
